1 or 2 would be great, the type that fits the old pipe bomb:

>>> edit 7-19-2020 5:40p.m. PST. I have a Testors McCoy .049, similar, but the glow head is bad. <<<<
>>>>>>>edit #2 7-19-2020 10:45p.m. PST. The seller below said he has several of the glow heads you need. I’m sure you can find him if you search “testors glowhead”. His ebay name was blacksheep or something close. I will check and repost if wrong, if I remember. I’m old and forget. >>>>>>
>>>>>>edit #3 Edited 7-19-2020 11:05p.m. PST to correct seller name. The sellers name is sheepsblack , sorry. I’m old and forget. >>>>>
There is an engine on eBay now with a broken connecting rod, he just added today, but everything else looks good. I sent a question about the head. Waiting.

Drill and tap

You know you could always drill out the bad glow head and tap for a standard #6 glow plug?
I will try with the bad One I have and give you a ring in a few days. It might take a while to get the glow head off the cylinder, it is really stuck. I will try a little heat.

Thanks guys! I PM’d Mark.
BTW I did just put in an order for a head conversion from Mecoa but doesn’t look easily accessible for an electrical connection on the hovercraft.

Still might be worth giving it a shot. The Testors heads do seem to be a little more fragile that Cox ones and sourcing replacements is getting pretty hard.
