Fun with the Sky Squires on National Model Aviation Day
No Cox engines at this event, and only a few IC engines, with lots of cool electrics zipping around.

They got this storm going right over your house no? Secure the hatches, best of luck. I missed it but the grace of God

Yeah, last chart I saw had it centered up for a swoop through here. But, been here before, and certainly don't have the kinds of concerns and threats those closer to landfall got to deal with.
Hope everyone gets through this set OK!

It was a lot of fun, and IC powerplantd do seem to be slowly going away.
As much as that might be, I'm really starting to miss the builders even more. "Open the Box and Play" is great, but I truly miss "the old days" when, in every model group, seems like you had the perfectionist builder, at least a couple "Mad Scientists", and the working guy type---just trying to get his Eaglet or Kadet in the air.
I'm just happy that my lifespan crossed paths with some of those moments.
