Just a little heads up. Beginning next month, the Cox Engine of the Month submission and poll threads will be found in the Forum Contests section.

I'm slowly working on moving all the previous Cox Engine of the Month threads to the Forum Contests section.

Just wondering why No.9 has so far scored 0 votes while a basically identical theme photo earns the max no of votes...I never quite understood what in reality drives the votes? Huh...

(I do not have a candidate photo, just backed off in the last moment, so I am impartial)

I'm not sure that it's appropriate for people to respond by campaigning for a particular picture or mentioning who they voted for. That has the potential to possibly influence the vote and set up devisions between members. Once voting has finished and the winner is announced, go for it, but I think that we should just cast our vote and make no comment until then, just to be fair on all.

You are right Rod but the difference in vote numbers of those 2 is so gaping that my lamenting won't change the ranking for sure. I was not campaigning either just wondering..and have not cast my vote.

No apology necessary Andras. There are things that happen which we don't understand, like the vast difference in the votes. Sometimes that's just the way it swings.
