Seems I've been a catalyist creating a reaction of late and I'm getting mixed reviews from CECF membership. Rather than create further turmoil I'll let the forum take it's natural course and return when I deem it appropriate.

Not at all Dave. When opinions are expressed, there will always be an argument, or maybe even some conflict.

But I do not think anyone was offended by your opinion. (unless you count the new/gone member) You did ask for other's views on the subject.

SuperDave,

Say it ain't so!

We all have different personalities on here. That's what makes this Forum so great!

I hope you reconsider Dave.

Please be receptive to PM's as I like to bump things off of you from time to time!

Don't let it get to you Dave. Take a break and just lurk for awhile, then decide.

Come on Dave, don't do this. Everyone has their own views and opinions in which is fine! Its fine to argue on here (as long as it doesn't get out of control...).

Dave --

I'm sure over the years I've offended more people than not, but I tend to hang around. Anytime one posts on a forum where members are competent and have considerable experience, there's bound to be differences of opinion. If we all took the same course of action, change would be slow to occur.

Anytime I ever comment on anything, I always remember something I learned years ago, "Just because it's my opinion, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm right." I'm certainly not implying you've done anything wrong, just that differences in opinion occur -- that's not bad, it just happens.

Stick around.

Don't do it Dave.
Just because we don't all feel exactly the same about everything/wouldn't life be boring if that were the case.
Please reconsider and get your ar8e on deck, which is I believe the appropriate Naval term..

Man, for a former military weapons instructor, you sure are a sensitive rascal ! The value of your contribution/membership here has never been questioned!

Now let's drop this silliness, and get on with the important business at hand...namely the fact that Spring has arrived (my area is replete with physical proof of that fact!) Gentlemen, it's time get our toys dirty !

As a relatively new member my opinions don't count for much but I want to
say I agree with all of the above. I love the American ' Straight Shooter'
style it's part of what gives this forum it's unique flavor.
