I'd call it Pepto-Bismol Pink.
A friend did his plane in this pink and I call it his Pepto-Bismol Special.

If its Monokote, it's called "Circus Circus" pink, after the old Circus Circus Casino in Vegas. Circus Circus used to sponsor several RC contests in their parking lot.

I thought it a good buy at $199. I believe the engines are Saito FA-45's that go for $174.00 used on ebay. You get two of them plus a radio and a plane.

Also I thought the ganged elevator/throttle servo interesting. I have done this with control line, but R/C?

I suspect that would be the steerable nose wheel rather than throttle.

I think your right Rod, but if you look closely at both engines it looks like there is a throttle connection? If nose wheel steering it must be connected to the rudder servo.
Maybe not?
I do know if I was closer I would pick it up and do some mods.

It’s definitely worth $200 . And that pink is why they make spray paint .

Hanna Pretner used to paint his contest RC planes that bright pink. I think it may be related to Circus-Circus as being possibly a sponsor to him.
I still remember the time that as an 8 year old, he won 2nd place in one of the national's RC pattern contests.
Bill Winter captioned the photo with, "How do you explain to your wife that 8 year old Hanno Pretner beat you?"

Hi All,
All it needs is a good check out, a runway and nice day.
Pink does not matter.
While flying,
Your eyes only see contrast. Not colour.
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave

High Viz pink stinks. I love it.
Seriously I would buy it just for the Saito's and run them both up. I love the sound of twins in sync.. I'm still wondering about those engines throttle controls.

The time of construction of this plane is far enough back that the receiver was still on 72 mHz. I went back to the original listing to see if there were any additional photos -- I had originally thought that all had been listed in this thread - the answer is in the additional photos. With the newer 2.4 gHz receivers, each engine throttle servo would have been driven independently using a dedicated channel from the receiver with mixing and adjustment needed to sync the engines managed from the transmitter. However, this is old school.
The fuselage pic shows the rudder/nose wheel servo and elevator servo. The picture in the eBay listing of the aileron servo has your answer. One of the leads has connection covered in heat shrink -- this is either a commercial signal splitter or one where the builder has split out two leads. As you can see, to the right, near the leading edge, there are two leads, however, looking carefully, there are three leads entering the wing. One of those drives the aileron servo, the other two drive a throttle servos likely buried in each of the engine nacelles. Because the throttle servos will move together, driven by a single receiver channel, syncing the engines must be handled mechanically by laboriously adjusting the throttle linkages. It's time consuming, messy and not perfect since each engine would respond differently to weather changes. With the spread spectrum transmitters today, the mixing curves of the two servos would be handled from the control screen on the Tx -- clean, quick and efficient.
That's ma story and Ah'm stickin' to it.

Good story Andrew and oh so true.
I did not scroll down in the photos. Thanks for clearing it up. Bob

Well as far as Pink goes I do haver a bipe that's pink I got from a friend a bunch of years ago , he was helping me to learn RC well it had a OS 40 I think with a tuned pipe . We were out to fly it and he tried to take off and before it got in the air cut it back and said something is wrong , well come to find out the prop was on backwards LOL put it on right and gave it a go still didn't fly as expected and it sets up stairs with my other out of date planes /equipment .
