Info Needed Regarding Pre-1956 Cylinders to Update CEF Cylinder List
Jacob our @Admin needs help regarding updating the Cylinder List
https://www.coxengineforum.com/h23-cylinder-identification :
I recently acquired two early Cox engines and discovered that the list is incomplete, because:
My pre-1956 Thermal Hopper cylinder has no SPI and two bypass ports.
My pre-1956 Space-Bug Jr. cylinder has no SPI and one bypass port.
The list only mentions the Post-1955 cylinders and pistons, which have SPI. Do any of you have further info on these, so Jacob can update the Cylinder List?

Re: Info Needed Regarding Pre-1956 Cylinders to Update CEF Cylinder List
I think 1st generation BB-s but all prior 049 COX engines had 3-piece pistons where the conrod small end was retained in the cup by a circlip..piston and cylinder fit of all these engines were tapered....good ole times...
