This is Nichole's invention:

http://coxengines.ca/product.php?productid=748&cat=44&page=1

A high-performance engine with Tee Tee cylinder/piston and high-compression 5-Fin glow head conversion.

Not to mention the elegant looks...

Sure to outperform the "living" bumble bee
lol!

Wheres the .051 cylinder??? lol!

LOL! https://sites.google.com/site/coxenginecollection/cox-bumble-bee

Another thing that was "removed" from my site because I thought it was stupid. This is like the Venom clone plans I have and it was made around the same time. These were put together for guys at the field and not really meant to look good, when I scanned them, I just tossed a little slip saying where they were from. In those days the parts were easier to get.

Don't forget to toss together a Wasp .049 someday too (don't follow the plans, they are just "available" parts tossed together and really didn't improve too much, just to be different). https://sites.google.com/site/coxenginecollection/cox-wasp There was a guy who was lightening pistons that was at the field too. He must have been removing too much material as they would only last about 4-5 flights before the piston top domed and eventually a crack would form. I never bought a piston from him because of that reason (he wanted like $20 each or something). That is where the lightened piston in the plans came from, the engine in the picture has a regular piston.

I think the photo must be cropped a little too closely
Steve, I've got one of Bernie's Golden Bee tanks
And it has the twin stunt vents on it.
Either that or it'll have a backplate filler.

Think there is a filler just visible behind the NV. Vent (I'm guessing) is just a hole on the other side, where the second standpipe used to be. But Bernie could tell you.

The Bumble Bee has the standard, non-vented, tank. Hence we use the Babe Bee backplate, which has the filler tube and the vent on the top of the backplate itself. Keep in mind that later year backplates had one tube for fuelling and hole beside it for venting.

That's close! You are missing the stunt tank and the Black Widow cylinder with the piston that was improperly and overly lightened by removing material from the inside the skirt and under the crown. I don't recall them being shortened as I don't remember seeing a huge SPI gap in the engines that had it. You also can't forget to anodize it a "Killer Bee Yellow".
lol!

Ok, how about this one?

http://coxengines.ca/cox-.049-engine-stunt-bee.html

Yes, yes, I know ... missing the SPI piston.

We have way too many engines models and will be retiring about 10 or so models and auctioning off the built stock of such on eBay.

Not sure which ones will be "retired" but Nichole will be making a list of the 15 engines with the least sales in past 12 months for me to review and pick 10 or so for "end-of series". A quick guess of the ones that may make it into the list would be:

Black Mamba
Red Devil
Black Devil
Sportster
Red Sportster
Black Sportster (will be made into a Texaco Jr II)
Grey Bomber
Red Scorpion
Black Scorpion
Red Bee
Black Bee
Red Skymaster
Black Skymaster
Red Stinger
Black Stinger
Viper
Black Beast
RC Cruiser
