Yes! Hi Duke... I'd love to see a pic of that handle. I saw your plane in this thread...duke.johnson wrote:We have a bunch of these, we fly carrier contest. We have another next weekend. I even have a Cox version that a friend mailed to me not long ago.

and was AMAZED! I had always imagined a 1/2A carrier model, but had never heard of or seen one... until YOURS! It's SWEEEEET!!!
I posted an Ace venturi throttle vid. awhile back, and wondered if you'd seen it? It would be nice in a "built-up fuse" model, but you could build it into the firewall of a profile. Have you tried that throttle? You'll get w.o.t. and real low rpm's out of it if you set it up right, using a muffler. Incidentally; the muffler in the vid. is one I designed (see my posts below) I sent Bernie a "build-article" and photos for his Sept. emag. issue; per his request.

Sturdi-Built Model Mfg./Jim Walker models
I thought I'd share a little more info. on my J. Roberts Flight-Control and some recent photos of an original pamphlet that came in the box. The images are all high-resolution (1200 x 1600 dpi) and can be zoomed for reading any fine-print legibly.
First; some better photos of the handle..
the packaging..
the accompanying pamphlet..
Those 1/2A C/L models using the foam-wings could probably be scratch-built with "Ace" cores and a set of plans.. if you had them.
