Re: youtube videos and accounts.
I have over 20 videos of my engines running, I didn't put them on you tube yet. I have to find my tapes first.

Re: youtube videos and accounts.
are they actual tapes becuase TBZ had videos of some of his planes on non digital video but could not post them on youtube because of this
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
I can convert them, I've done it before. I have 2 ways of doing it, run it through my vhs/dvd recorder and make a dvd I can upload or plug the camcorder right into the computer and play the tape into imovie.
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
That's nice, I don't have a video of mine running yet. The only videos I have on you tube were ones I recorded years ago. They are videos of some old radios I have and my dog when I was first testing my camera phone.
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
Thats the plan, but time seems to be everything these days lol.
I would like to have it so that customers would also be able to send videos of engines they purchased and they would be put up on a youtube page.
Matt.

Re: youtube videos and accounts.
Making the account is really easy it only takes about 1 muniut and if you have an iPhone you can send them to YouTube really quickly and easily.
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
Yeah, the account isn't the problem.....just finding time to run the engines.

Yeah, Here https://www.youtube.com/user/airplaneengine?feature=mhee Unlike my you tube name,
My channel isn't fancy, I haven't done much for it yet.
Alright, this is the only video I have currently on my computer that I feel like posting. It is that babe bee that had to have its crankshaft replaced. This is a video of its first run. Recorded about a year ago from my old camera phone (explains the poor quality).
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
I'm posting some new videos on my YouTube account, my throttled babe bee and a 1956 babe bee with a 3 piece piston.
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
have you got any photos of the cox 3 part piston, ive never seen one ,how long did they use them before using the std cox type ?
In the 049s ive only seen the 3 part in the enya 049

Yeah, they used the 3 part piston in the Space Bug, Space bug Jr. and the Thermal Hopper plus some early Babe Bees. I have a picture of it here: https://sites.google.com/site/coxenginecollection/1956-babe-bee
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
My YouTube channel has some videos of me teaching myself to do C/L stunts. Right now I'm flying a Stuntman23 chopped into a shorty. The Stab is an inch behind the wing. It will turn a really tight loop. My other is a Li'l Jumpin Bean. Both have Black Widows. The bean is in the hangar getting a new nose.

I'd probably have to throw up, after having to spin in circles after 4 minutes....

Re: youtube videos and accounts.
I would keep my sirst flights unde 1 min the steadily increase by 30 seconds until I'm flyin black widows with 19 tank extenders
Re: youtube videos and accounts.
i think these extenders are really ugly, even one just looks like the engine is blown out of proportion...one should
get a tee dee or a medallion if he wants to fly that long.

I'm pretty sure it would not perform well anywhere besides a collector's shelf. I don't understand why that is, but I'm not a collector.
