Here is a picture straight down into the piston from my boom microscope. There is a circlip that holds the plate over the ball end of the con rod. The con rod is made of aluminum and is larger in diameter than the standard piston with the ball socket.

ok, seriously... Smile

got one of those lighters which are wind-proof, and have that jet-like sound,
and took the diffusor thingy out. i had this old flah light lyinn round, so i drilled up the
back to 6 1/2 millimeters, and the diff fit jus snug! that all there's to it. its great if you need
to bend thin steel rods, they will glow white hot when i leave em in the exhaust flame long enough.

Ah... Those stick lighters that act/look like blow torches? Just plugged into a tube?

the black tank you see in the vid is from one of those long lighters, that have a hose running through to the top.
so yeahh, i just had to connect the tank hose to the diffusor, and voila Smile
