We could all strive for the latest, greatest, lightest and most powerful engine - it is somewhat of a natural instinct.
There is a great deal to be considered matching an engine to a model.
Here the Gilbert has found a match!

I've now got extra heads for my 3 A.C. Gilbert .074 Thunderheads. One is already in my 1/2-A Ringmaster Gee Bee Z. These engines are .049 reed valve power equivalents. Possibilities:
1) DeMECO (DeBolt Model Engineering Company) .049 powered Livewire Kitten
Outerzone - DeBolt Livewire Kitten
2) DeBolt All American 26
Outerzone - DeBolt All American 26 CL

I've got 2 engines, and the Livewire kit, the All American is easy to template and scratch build, so both could be reality. I think it would be neat to see these engines brought back to life in suitable airframes.Cribbs74 wrote:I'm feeling All American.
