Is the A3 OS plug a good plug for the McCoy 35? Any other plugs someone can suggest?
Thanks Jim

I'd say it's as good as any. The A3 has always been a 'safe" go-to hot plug for most C/L applications. I think the Red Heads take a long. Just check your clearance.

Yes it does take a long plug.
Thanks

Re: McCoy 35 r/h
Jim , I prefer to use idle bar plugs for most of the older baffle piston engines. I feel it just keeps the fire lit better. Your looking for a hot plug. The Mccoy will not have clearance problems due to long type plugs. The Mccoy MC-59 is sold by Tower Hobbies is a well made plug. My favorite plug to use it the Thunderbolt r/c longs. These are starting to become hard to find and Hobby People seems to be the only source. Mecoa offers the K&B 1L these work well and are not as pricy as the above. While this engine is not real picky on plug choices, the OS plugs are a little different in length ( A tad shorter than most r/c plugs). They can change the run on some modern engines due to the length but not a problem in a Mccoy and they would work fine. A Fox plug standard or r/c long will also work not my favorite but it will work. Fireball hot is another plug that will work as well and they're not expensive.
