I really know nothing about these engines apart from the fact they were the "bees knees" back in the day. I will say they are extremely handsome and they look like screamers.

Screamers I am sure but handsome that's kinda stretching they have similar cases to some of the taifun engines.

In MY day (Long time ago!) the Holland Hornet was the ONLY .049 ever considered for serious 1/2A freeflight contest flying, we had one club member who had one, we thought he'd probably remorgaged his house to buy it (They were WAY expensive, compared to, say, TDs) but, he won national competitions consistently with it, so I suppose he thought it worth it. Screamers isn't the word, with pressure feed it's the only engine I've ever heard that actually hurt your eardrums!
Oddly enough, I like the look of them too!
