Re: Walter Musciano
I just wanted to add that the Academy of Model Aeronautics updated Walt's bio. Tonite I downloaded it and has now an additional touching eulogy from his son on the last page of the PDF:
https://www.modelaircraft.org/sites/default/files/MuscianoWalterAWalt.pdf
The PDF biography is one of the lengthiest AMA has at 16 pages long. He went through a lot with his father's passing at age 13, became a street child for a number of months until a loving couple adopted him. His models were a large part of his life. I can associate, as model building was a large part of my life as an adolescent and teenager. That's perhaps why I do so well finishing my models.
It doesn't seem so long ago that he passed away 4 and a half years ago (April 3, 2019) at age 96. Rest in peace, Walt, I've built many of your kits.
