Re: 52 years ago today
I watched Jeff Bezos sub-orbital liftoff and return today.
Can't say I was excited as when we landed on the moon, but still quite an accomplishment for a non-government agency. He named his capsule New Shepard after Alan Shepard our first astronaut. Shepard was born in Derry New Hampshire about 20 miles from my home town. We are about a generation and a half apart.
Looks like Ralph finally knocked her there.
