Any advise for removing old stickers from plastic surfaces. I'm restoring a Cox Baja Bug and heat is not doing the trick as it has in the past.

Joe, I'm wondering if a natural citrus spray would do the job. I know you certainly don't want to use anything that is heavy solvent based. I've seen sprays like this used for bumper sticker removal. WD-40 even seems to be mild enough or something like lighter fluid. As long as they've been on there I'm quite certain it's going to take repetitive attempts to remove them. Ken

Lighter fluid will do the trick, tear as much of the sticker as you can off, then soak in fluid for a minute or so, then either peel the remainder or rub it off with a cloth soaked in fluid. Won't damage or mark any plastic.
