glow heads
Good morning- I have a mis-matched pile of cox parts and am trying to get at least two strong runners together. I have one cylinder that is duel ported and one head that appears to be a 1702 glow head as it has the knurling on the top, two full cooling fins, and runs a hell of a lot stronger than the others. So now I start searching the internet for an similar head with no luck. Are they gone for ever or do I not know where to look? is there some sort of superior aftermarket head out there and what about plug adapters? I am not looking for a high dollar world beater just doing the best I can. Let me know about those heads please.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: glow heads
I know of a few places on the web here where you can get those 1702 high compression "Tee Dee .049/.051" glow heads.
http://www.mecoa.com/cox/index.htm <Look at the one that says "Tee Dee .049" it is the top right one. This is the only company I know of that are actually still making these.
http://coxengines.ca/product.php?productid=200&cat=27&page=2 <These people bought out some of the remaining stock from Cox when they were shut down. These plugs will most likely be "new old stock".
This is actually a really good deal! > http://cgi.ebay.com/3x-Cox-049-051-Tee-Dee-Killer-Bee-Venom-Glow-Plug-Head-/370469815104?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5641b8c340 < These are being sold by the same people from cox international.
I hope this helps!
