ACE throttle for the BabeBee?

ACE throttle for the BabeBee?
Is anyone using the ACE type of throttles for the BabeBees?
They look like they could enter past the very fuel inlet and then restrict the very venturi tube it self, hence not only act as a choke?

Jason just picked one up off of Ebay. Maybe he will try it out. I was thinking the same thing.
You could probably limit how far it goes in the venturi.

Re: ACE throttle for the BabeBee?
There's been some discussion on this throttle in Bernie's thread.. but I have been a long-time proponent of making it yourself with materials you may already have. I replied to a comment/question on YouTube, of my Ace-Throttle vid from a modeler in Argentina via his email that he provided. I sent a letter and attached a photo of the "Ace" instruction sheet, photo of the original components and also a photo of some plunger-needles I'd made myself. I also explained that Cox International may be re-producing the Ace design.. and provided their web-link.. as well as CEF's.
He wrote back within a day; thanking me and provided a link to this vid..

This is what modeling is all about guys! My new friend "Mauricio" explained to me that in Argentina; modeling supplies are not imported.. so he has to do a lot of improvising. I think he did pretty well!

We are having the "ACE" throttle manufactured and they should ship sometime this week. I believe the price-point will be $9.95

This really made me feel good this morning.. and I needed that. I need to ask him what prop and fuel-blend he's using. I was seeing that same nice "throttle-response" with mine.. but he's got a nice tuning-combo that achieves a steady 5K idle without a muffler.. and that's pretty good. No glow-driver either..

They're definitely worth the money! Hopefully the above vid will encourage people to buy them.
