Cox Engine of The Month
What a six pack !

What a six pack !
I like to go into some storage bags and pull engines out to service them. Just pulled out six Cox engines and looking good. Sportsman .15/ Olympic .15/ Space hopper/ Thermal Hopper/ Space Bug and last Space Bug Jr. Even have replacement heads for all. I never ran any of the early Cox engines. The two .15's are not new but excellent and Space Hopper needs a little detailing as it has minor rubs on case.
Later go through the bags of TD's as I have need for several. I had three of early engines for sale and no takers even when I had them for sale very reasonable. Glad they had no takers as two have never been run or mounted. Sure one pretty sight all together. Oh well got to get oiler out and give them some lube.

Sportsman and Space Hopper have been run. both started with no problems and ran very well. The three early engines I see no need to run them. I am very tempted to run the Olympic as great smooth feeling engine. My friend has a Goldberg FAI Hi-Trust Viking kit that shows the Olympic in the nose on plans. I have the built 1/2A Hi-Thrust Viking and would like to have the .15 FAI size one also. I sold a kit of FAI Viking several years ago and knew I should have kept it.

teedee`s
Which teedee`s did you have for sale that you had no takers on?
It`s hard to believe nobody wanted a teedee, esp. now that replacement parts are becoming more available

I just sold several TD's on another forum. Guy in UK is new owner of a TD .010/.020/ 2-TD .049's one TD .051/ TD .09 and one MK2 TD .15. The .010/.020 in plastic cases. Rest had low useage and excellent. These were extras and downsizing some what. I may make another pass at my Cox supply.
