TD and Medallion crankcases?

And speaking of fooling with things, some of us bladder users quit on tanks because we were tired of fooling with them... at least for high gee applications. No tank is as simple and your days of tuning needle settings are over. Set and forget. I used to change them out all the time thinking they would deteriorate, but I have two planes I fly on 9 month old bladders. A bag of spares in case I need a 10 second swap, but they just keep on going. Just saying... not being a tank snob or smartass, just trying to spread the word on how they simplify cranking and running, reedies and rotaries.

Even though I find the run far superior on bladder. I appreciate the simplicity of a good old fashion hard tank.

Fly, fuel, flip! Rinse and repeat.

Mind you, if I had a third hand then bladder would be somewhat simple as well. It is possible to have a good run on a hard tank, but sometimes it takes a little work.

I have honed my technique, but I still find it fiddley.

9 months is a good long time Rusty. Mine burst after 1 day of use and it ticks me off to watch all that fuel spill on the ground.

My thoughts anyway.

Edit: For the record I am not against bladders as the run is outstanding and it's worth the extra effort.
