Cold weather flying!
I often read on this forum a significant amount of feeling against flying in the cold and snow.
See this
Especially the last five minutes.

Re: Cold weather flying!
Great vid! I've never met Windy.. but I'm hoping there's a slim chance he'll be at a N.E.S.T. fly-in next weekend in Wrentham, MA. Member Dave Cook is to receive a PAMPA Hall of Fame award that Saturday May 16th. Theme for the day will be borrowed from an article that Dave wrote; "Stunt in New England in the Good Old Days".. that was featured in Control Line World. Anyone having a connection to Stunt in New England is expected to attend and fly that day.
I plan on going and will try to shoot some stills and video.

That looks cold! I would need a heated and very well insulated suit for that! The sea around Britain is cold enough in summer but winter.........!

My being originally a "Bostonian".. (well, close enough) I thought it fitting to post an annual tradition where the "L Street Brownies" take a dip in Boston Harbor on New Years Day.. since 1909.

Re: Cold weather flying!
I've visited Brisbane once in your winter time and went windsurfing, great place.
The locals offered to lend me a wetsuit, but I declined as it was like a regular summer to me...
