Can you identify this tool?

Hey!Nice find. The 1st pic is a wing intensive gauge ( darn spellcheck ). Incidence gauge. 2nd set I would guess to be sanding blocks

Top as everyone else has said is a wing/stab incidence gauge very nice tool to have bottom is some type of sanding block set dunno what manufacturer is. (Bandit)

Thanks.  This incidence gauge is no longer available from Great Planes but MSRP was $52 at the time.

The aluminum pieces... they seem a bit short for sanding blocks to me but if they are it makes sense that the sandpaper would get pressed in between the block and the "T" handle deal.  The 3 small "T" shaped pieces fit perfectly inside the shaped tools but don't fasten or attach. No handles, no good way to grip the thing. The box came with monocote and sealing tools like a sealing iron, heat gun, covering iron, etc. so I'm wondering if it's related.  It also came with a slot machine (hinge slotting tool), all of which I have no use for at the moment....

Look like you got a whole bunch of goodies. Now you have the material and tools to build a airfoil wing and cover it with mojo coat ( monocoat) darn spellcheck


Looks Like they've made improvements to the tools over the years. You may have the 70's version of this style sander.

You wrap the sandpaper around the tool overlapping the ends at the top and push the U shape down to secure the paper in place, while using your thumb and forefinger to hold the sander to get in to tight spaces.
