I tried to respond after Ron's post and the topic is locked

very curious

I was going to add... At certain VOLTAGES EVERY THING, Including Air, can be a conductor

All dielectrics...(so called insulators) have a break down voltage

More on this subject after I find out why the topic is locked

Huh... Not sure what happened there, I don't see any reason why it should've been locked. One of the mods must have bumped the button. It's unlocked now.

I had second thoughts about starting the thread.. If it were locked because of it's title/subject.. I would understand. I thought about liability. Apparently it's locking was unintentional.. or should we say; an "accident". Accidents can be avoided though awareness. I decided to post the topic.. and get feedback. I did.. and it was all good IMO. We all should observe safety foremost.. and always.

Yeah and if the conditions are right, the electrons(current) will just crawl right across the outside of it... and gitcha!... I think that was also mentioned in other words back in the original thread.
