I just completed restoring an old Pt-19 and now I completed my second restore, the Stuka. I bought the original from Craigslist complete but pretty dirty but no damage for 70.00. The engine was seized but otherwise fine. The decals were pretty bad so I peeled them off and began to clean everything with soapy water and a little degreaser inside the engine area. I did not use any polish or any other chemicals that may have ruined the plastic. I soaked the engine in a crockpot with antifreeze and she cleaned up nicely. I have a new Stuka in the box from 1979 and I was able to scan the decals and redraw them in CorelDraw for Callie-Decals and they came out great, well worth the 8.00 dollars. All in all I am 78.00 into this restore and this will by my flying model and the other Stuka will remain in the box for now.

That is such a good job I wouldn't even risk flying that one either.
